Prior to the Clone Wars, during the age of the old republic, The Father and another being named The Mother produced together two children named only Son and Daughter, who were, like their parents, incredibly powerful with the Force. By doing this, he removed all power from his Son and Skywalker took the chance and impaled the Son with his lightsaber. With a final confrontation about to be set between the Jedi and the Son, Father decided it was best to remove himself from reality by taking the Dagger away from his Son and stabbing himself with it. She sacrificed herself to save the Father, bringing unbalance to the Force. While attempting to keep peace between them, the Daughter was impaled by the Son, who had the Dagger of Mortis found in the Altar of Mortis. When the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Ahsoka Tano visited the planet, the Father attempted to stop a confrontation between his children, the Son and Daughter. The Father was a male being descended from the celestial named Yeva who was part of The Ones, a family of powerful Force-users on Mortis during the Clone Wars.
